How to reach us:Villa Fiorita B&B - GPS:lat/long.:43.330008, 11.319256 is located in 75, Viale Cavour, around 520 metres far from Porta Camollia, the north entrance of the historical centre of Siena, the heart of the city. Piazza del Campo is around 1650 metres far from here, personally it takes me 14 minutes and 19 seconds to get there walking quite fast, excluding red traffic lights...my cousin “long-legs”and my aunt arrive there in less than 13 minutes...they are unreachable. The railway station is 1000 metres far from Villa Fiorita, 850 metres if you could “find”the short-cut...but you can catch the numbers 9 and 10 buses. The nearest bus stop, toward the centre, is 15 metres far; the bus stop to San Gimignano (30 minutes) and Florence (1 hour) is 100 metres far. Near Villa Fiorita you can find two bars, one is called “Charlie”, an internet point, an home-made pastry where you can find “king-size” cakes, a refined home-made pastry, two restaurants-pizzerias, a tobacconist’s shop, a snack bar rotisserie, a take away pizzeria, a newspaper kiosk, a laundry and a supermarket a little more of 50 metres far . |

What to see in the area:Villa Fiorita in Siena: the outskirts MONTERIGGIONI: “Come in sulla cerchia tonda Monteriggioni di torri si corona” (Inferno, XXX1 canto). In this way Dante describes Monteriggioni in his Divine Comedy. Nowadays, this enchanting Medieval village is the same as described by Dante. The little square with the well and the walls make us feel what Dante felt more than 700 years ago. SAN GIMIGNANO: It is useless speaking about this tower-city famous all over the world. Of the 72 towers, just 13 are visible nowadays but the Medieval atmosphere is always unchanged. To visit what it offers on foot and with peacefulness. LA VAL D'ORCIA AND CRETE: Enchanting scenario, downward slopes painted using a brush and absolutely lunar landscapes! Cypresses, ancient farmhouses, burned land-colour hills and calmness for your sight! Absolutely to visit: Pienza, San Quirico d’Orcia, Castiglione d’Orcia, Montalcino and many other villages. FLORENCE: It is obligatory to mention Florence, 75 kilometres far, so rich in historical and religious buildings, museums and lofty palaces that you can not come to Tuscany without visiting it.
